The Resonance team was retained to work for the 266 4th Street Housing residential project in San Francisco, CA. The project was built on a flat L-shaped parcel and will be an 8-story residential building with 70 affordable below-market units ranging from studios to two-bedroom units. The apartments occupy floors 2-8 and the first floor has retail space, amenity spaces, an on-grade courtyard, a garden, a play space and a top-floor terrace. The building is situated above a future SFMTA subway station under construction as part of the Central Subway Project.
Our acoustical consulting services included an environmental noise study, Central Subway vibration evaluation, as well as input on sound isolation, room acoustics and MEP/HVAC noise and vibration.
