The Resonance team was retained to provide acoustical consulting services for a tenant improvement of approximately 26,967 square feet of office space on floors 39 and 40 at Four Embarcadero Center in San Francisco. The scope of work included establishing acoustical design criteria for occupied spaces, encompassing background noise levels, sound transmission, impact isolation, reverberation time, and speech privacy. Services spanned Design Development through Construction Administration, including mechanical systems review, sound attenuation recommendations, background sound masking evaluation, partition and ceiling construction reviews, HVAC noise and vibration isolation recommendations, specialty detail sketches, and acoustical specifications. At project close-out, the team conducted Noise Isolation Class testing, octave band noise measurements, and Reverberation Time studies to verify performance against established criteria. LEED documentation was also prepared for submission to the USGBC.
