The Resonance team provided acoustical testing and design services to reduce chiller noise at multiple International Polytechnic High School (iPoly) classrooms. The school is located on the campus of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona). Noise from the central chiller plant was affecting the students and teachers in the adjacent classrooms. While under a tight budget, our team was able to produce a cost-effective remedy to reduce interior noise levels to meet the relevant acoustical standards.
