Resonance Acoustics provided acoustical consulting services for a two-story art and science center. The first floor houses a 250-seat theater, and the second floor contains offices and a science learning center. At the theater, we provided detailed room acoustics recommendations, including input on room finishes, textures, and placement of materials. We also provided sound isolation recommendations and HVAC noise/vibration reduction recommendations. Our work was closely coordinated with the theater and audiovisual consultants.
On the second floor, we provided design input for sound isolation between spaces, HVAC/mechanical noise and vibration reduction, and room acoustics.
