The Resonance team provided acoustical testing, architectural design, and Construction Administration services to acoustically treat the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts (LACHSA). The school is located on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA). The project included nine classrooms and a black box theater.
The purpose of the project stemmed from the change in the use of classroom spaces. Starting as traditional classrooms, the nine rooms were then converted into music rooms. Our team provided testing and sound mitigation to help reduce the sound transmission between classrooms.
The Resonance team also provided acoustical recommendations for the black box theater.
