The Resonance team provided acoustical consulting services for the installation of the Philips Azurion 7 C20 Flex Arm Radiology equipment in the Operating Room of Marin General Hospital. The project consisted of the installation of radiology equipment on the Operating Room floor as well as equipment suspended from the ceiling of the second floor. We measured and analyzed existing floor vibration levels at the Hospital and compared the measured levels to the manufacturer’s vibration velocity criteria to verify that ambient vibration from staff and patient footfall noise would not create imaging problems.
