METRO TRANSIT: CRENSHAW/LAX CONNECTOR

The Resonance team worked with Kleinfelder/Metro as the acoustical engineer for the construction of the Crenshaw Line. The scope included a review of the contractor’s RFIs and submittals with respect to construction noise control and a review of noise monitoring plans and reports. Our team worked alongside the contractor’s acoustical engineer in reducing construction noise to the adjacent sensitive receivers (e.g., residences).

The Crenshaw Line/LAX Connector Transit Project is an 8.5-mile light-rail line, with eight stations, including Leimert Park and Hindry. The rail line runs between the Expo Line on Exposition Blvd. and the Metro Green Line. It consists of above-ground (La Brea Ave./La Cienega Blvd. and 405 Freeway/Century Blvd.) and tunneled segments (Exposition Blvd. to 48th St/59th Pl to 67th St/Los Angeles International Airport South Runways) with all remaining areas at ground level.
