Resonance Acoustics provided acoustical consulting services for Cushman & Wakefield of California. The City of Rocklin requested an analysis be conducted to measure noise created by proposed air handlers, emergency generators, and chillers to the project property lines. This analysis was needed to verify compliance with the City’s acoustical standards.
Resonance reviewed the current site plan and planned equipment yard. We calculated the noise reduction provided by the CMU wall around the yard and provided a performance related specification for the equipment to meet the City’s noise standard. Upon completion of the study, Resonance provided the City with a report summarizing our calculations and recommendations.
