The Resonance team provided acoustical consulting for this three-story, affordable, senior housing complex in Milpitas, CA. The building’s facade noise reduction improvements were done as part of the Silicon Valley Berryessa BART Extension Residential Noise Insulation Program.
The Resonance team was retained to perform acoustical measurements of the building envelope noise reduction to quantify the impact of the Silicon Valley BART extension. After the measurements were completed, our team acoustically engineered the building envelope improvements so that noise inside of the units was reduced to acceptable levels. Finally, we designed bid package drawings and assisted VTA with construction administration.
